At Herman Brothers Transport Services, Health and Safety is priority and is part of our business culture.  We have invested heavily in our Health and Safety systems and we actively promote and support our team to stay safe, which we follow-up by completing bi-monthly safety observations on all of our drivers to visibly confirm our systems and processes are being followed.


Our team of drivers are all experienced operators hold a combination of the below depending on their authorised fleet units requirements –

  • Spill Control and Spill Kit Training
  • Site Safe Passports
  • Dangerous Goods Handler

All fleet units are equipped with Eroad, which we upgraded to include the ‘Safe Driver’ module which has enabled us to manage our fleet using the following  –

  • E-Logbook
  • Daily Fleet Inspections (Start an End of shift inspections)
  • Service Schedules
  • Compliance monitoring
  • Driver licensing
  • Maintenance logs
  • Driver performance rating matrix


All of our fleet units are equipped with

  • Fire Extinguisher
  • First Aid Kit
  • Spill Kit


All of our lifting gear is tagged annually, and visually checked prior to use to ensure the gear is not impaired in any way.

Cranes are certified annually with certificates present in each Hiab fleet unit.
